First Light has provided the participants of this group with a small budget to make a five minute film. Having picked up basic filmmaking skills during a series of workshops at Our Holy Redeemer's and Our Lady of Lorretto Primaries, now at St Andrew's High School the pupils bring these skills to their First Light production. The theme for this work focuses on the young people's immediate environment in the past and the present.
The script, which emerged from a summer school, picks up on local ghostly tales and weaves them together to form a film comprising live action and cel animation. This clip shows a sequence from the beginning of the film.
